The UnInterested.

I have a wicked confession to make...I have stopped reading blogs other than mine. That fact just hit me a few days back. Yes, i no longer fancy e-reading and people's blogs do not seem to interest me any longer. Don't ask me why..well, just that for the past month i haven't really come up with an addictive blog that i religiously visited for the posting. Majority of bloggers just seem to post their personal matters and others..well, they do have some some intelligent put up but its just not drawing me like it use to.

When i was introduced to blogs and the art of blogging about 3 years back, it was a new, very refreshing invention. An e-diary and a chance to pry into other people's lives. Well, those days a blog was something unheard of, thus the amount of blogs were limited. But then, what happens when the word spreads? Everyone wants to become a part of blogging regardless of whether you want to stay loyal and keep posting. And then, thats where the quality goes down the pits.

Of course i don't deny the fact that good, informative blogs do exist. But its like looking for a needle in a haystack, there is JUST to many blogs around. The cyberspace, i feel is saturated with blogs and MySpaces, not to mention the social networking sites like Friendster and Facebook. So much so, that it bores the hell out of me to actually spend hours scouting for good blogs.

And yes, i've succumbed to the pleasures of the good old books, newspapers and magazines for articles and information. What's mornings without the addictive cup of coffee and the earthy smell of the daily newspaper? As i leaf through the pages, i get everything i want within my finger's reach from current news to entertainment, even orbituaries!

But i can sense that this pleasure is short-lived because there will be that time where i start work and i can no longer relax and read the morning papers. Thats where i think i have to turn back to the net for the daily dose of happenings. But blog-hopping? *sigh*

As unintelligent as it makes me feel, i think i'm heading towards the community that couldn't care less about what everyone thinks or writes. I just want to post my stuff, (and yup i couldn't care less of whether people actually read my postings or not) and move away from the desktop as soon as possible. Well, maybe i wouldn't be able to inherit the amount of knowledge as other blog scouters have but at least i'm contented with the fact that i want to live my life as far from the influence of blogs and networking profiles as possible.

So happy blogging bloggers, i aint reading them anymore!
